Indeed I do *snicker* She will know if I have snuck in the perimeter because Suede, Zane, Gypsy and Rufus & Aimee will be missing and maybe Nugget unless she has babies at the time.

Of course in order to get to Gypsy I will have to fend off the Tiny Terrorist, Tiny. OMG that bird is evil if you enter the coop after bedtime I mean EVIL!

Aubrey - just a word of advise here - Cyn and LH are two firecrackers - as the two men here we better mind our P's and Q's and let them duke it out over one lil rooster!

Meanwhile i will sneak in the back door and swipe the cute lil hens!

Knox keep your paws off of Aimee, she goes with Rufus. Take the Pest, Penny. Oh and watch out for the 1 lb menace he will attack you when you go in. hahahahahaha

I don't know if I told you guys this on the thread, but the other day, Rusty decided he'd flog my left shoe when I was standing in the pen (as if I would even have known unless I was looking down, LOL). Aubrey was my hero! He came in from the left and body-slammed Rusty away from me! Guess that was a thank you for mopping up his wounds when he was whooped up on by the other three that day, LOL.

New d'anver momma needing advise please. Still working on my coop and need to know "what is a good height for the roosts for these little darlins"? Thanks so much!

doesnt really matter on d'anvers . I have them between 2 foot and 6 foot. Have 2 in each pen, in in front and lower than the back. usually 3 foot on the front one and 4-5 foot on the back one just to give them options

LauraLee, this is my roost setup in the bantam coop. They all roost on the top bar, which is about 5' high. They do use the lower one to launch from most of the time, though. I put that one in for my few older hens who live with them, but those old ladies refuse to use it, too, LOL.
