Why no close ups of My Little Love? It is discrimination I tell ya! I am glad they got outside and had a good time Cyn.

Regarding Zane...he was able to see you, Tom and the flock before he passed on with dignity and on his terms so don't you worry about that, he knew he was loved and he returned it. He was a special soul for sure, stole my heart and I will miss him when I come to get My Little Love. I really liked that boy and you did not shed tears alone my friend, I do understand. When the day comes that the Suedenator passes away....call and tell Bill first because he will need to find some tranquilizers for me while you are telling me because I will lose it!

This week I hatched two millies out of my good millie pen and three porcelain out of my split pen. I don't think the silver quail egg is going to hatch.

Aw, cuteness overload! My D'Anvers in the bator are on Day 14 Saturday.

Seems like it takes forever don't it. When you put eggs in every week it don't take near as long, Even if your just doing a half a dozen they add up fast. I have pens to build.

I have 15 pure D'Anvers in the bator. If they all hatch and I get a good number of pullets, I have to decide how many to keep. Since my main goal are porcelains, I don't want to fill up the coop will all milles or mille splits, but I won't know which are the splits until I breed them, so could be tricky, knowing which to keep since you can't see a gene for lavender in a mille.
