) He's an absolute delight and wonderful complement to our little flock!

Sad to tell you this Cyn but that boy yelled "Yeehaw Kentucky....I wanna live in Kentucky" I heard him clear as a bell. JJ will deny it of course.

I survived me week with the grandson and boy is Kentucky calm and quiet now that he is back in Tenneessee.

I did hear him... but it must be the accent because what he actually said was :" nooooo not Kentucky... leg hair disgusts me."

Except for them Georgia girls...He likes the way they talk.

See, now, it took me a minute to even know what that said, LOL! Was gone too long with the Air Force out west and in the midwest. When we came back to visit once, my SIL was engaged. I asked her what her fiance's last name was. She said, "Whales", or so I thought. When I asked her to clarify by spelling, found out it was actually "Wells".

So, even I need an interpreter for some of these folks!

You should hear the guys, locals, who are logging our extra 3 acres. I can copy their accent pretty well for Ladyhawk on the phone so it must be in my blood. I've always said the southern accent was like a pitbull and you couldn't really shake it loose. We'd go places and they'd want us to talk for them out west. Came back here and they'd say, You aren't from around here, are you? Can't win! DH's family were some of the founding families of the state, came here back in the 1500's.
