Now Cyn...My Little Love is special. He tries to be mean really he does but the lure of the cuddles and swinging is just too much for him. Hahahaha

Well, "Rambo" is still at large. Right before dark he went into a pine thicket full of blowdowns and greenbriers. I looked a little but there is noway to see him in there and I didn't want to spook him out after dark, if he found a good place to roost.

JJ Your little guy was training here if he has gone all ninja on you. The past two weeks here have been ninja stealth and evasion training.

Most recent update on the Coon war... after last night's attack on my little person...LadyHawk. 6 Coons. 0. And the night is still young. Muahahaha

Cyn, I burned a bunch of that danged vine here and them cut it back and sprayed roundup on the roots. So far it has not grown back...still got more to get rid of.

I can't fertilize or spray Roundup on over 5 acres, of course. Now, if I could borrow a goat or two to stake out and move around my place, they eat that stuff. I've dug up roots of it that were larger than softballs. They are terrible! And they climb and can choke out young saplings, etc. Plus, I've had my shins and ankles ripped by that nasty vine too many times in the summer when I didn't see a vine and was tripped up by it. Even dead, it's lethally thorny.

I'm going to predict that I have at least two cockerels in this batch of chicks, late bloomers both of them. Can't be lucky enough to just have one. In fact, with my luck, I'll have 3 out of 5 be males. I can't believe they are this late showing themselves when in the past, I've been able to guess by 3 weeks of age and this batch is nearing 6 weeks old.
