That's all fine and dandy, but I'm sure she knows about shelters and getting dogs spayed.
How about we stop jumping on people for asking questions? Merle is a hard gene to learn about, especially at first. We're here to help, not pass judgement. This is supposed to be a friendly, helpful environment because the mods try VERY hard to keep it nice here. I go to other forums and none are as well managed as this one. (in my opinion) How are we supposed to learn anything new except to ask? We don't tell children they are stupid for not knowing why the sky is blue, and why fish can't play outside of water. Should we tell a adult that he/she is ridiculous for asking why chicks need a heat lamp? It's all a learning process.
I think it's great to "fix" dogs and I totally get why its important and all the benefits from it (as do lots of the regulars here), almost all my dogs are fixed. But if I could have bred my mutt Aussie before she died so unexpectedly I would have. I so would have loved to keep one of her babies. Maybe that's the reason she wants to (maybe) breed her dog? If she has people that would take the other pups, I think that's fine too. They'd have homes right?
I respect all the people that post here because you all know so much and have many experiences to share. And I'm not pointing a finger at anyone, I mean this as generally as possible. Please be aware of how your words may sound to someone else, there is a nice way and a mean way to just about everything.
