Dark Barred Rock Feet

This is an interesting and informative thread.

It would be EVEN BETTER if someone could post a few pictures to help illustrate the coloring, feathering, etc. of the chicks.

I learn a LOT here at Backyard Chickens Forum!

If you click on my signature link you can see pics of our barred rock pullet...(at least to date she's a she...LOL)

You can see the darker legs and small barely there white on her head...
 
It's pretty easy to see the difference after you have been through a few batches- post pics and if there's any feather growth on them with barring, we should be able to tell from the lightness or darkness of the overall bird.

ETA this pic shows roo in front, pullets behind him. notice leg barring, color and comb. his tail is perkier, but i don't think that means anything!
