If you're OK with crosses, do this one - they are my favorite hens in the flock - they are bigger than an Ameraucana and smaller than the Brahmas, good bone structure, good size eggs and wonderful temperament. I'm hatching more this year.

I just searched this cross and found this thread.
Since the last post is almost 2 years old, could someone do an update please?
I am interested in their disposition, their size, egg color and size as well as egg production.

My idea/intent was to use a Ameraucana rooster with a Light Brahma hen.
I prefer to have the rooster be smaller so it's physically easier on the hen.
Obviously others have already done this so I am wondering about the results.
