I agree Don.... I try to stay closest to point of import for that very reason.... Maybe it is a "conspiracy theory" but I would rather get the closest to the orginal "genetic messes" than to risk many different ppls programs down a long chain... Not to say that things can't and don't happen just that in the gamble this is the bet I call.

MM.... It is a spice and since birds have a diluted sense of taste.... I think it is common sense here.. I was told to use it liberally and thick and aromatic... I use DE like you would if you were top dressing.. so to a large metal refuse container (standard shape) I use a pound of tumeric and about a cup to 2 cups of De... I use oil to make sure that it sticks and they don't just inhale it... Sunflower oil or safflower etc... just a litttle bit...only enough do keep the dust down.. Cranberry... also SUPERFOOD Healthwise it can't be measured.. if you end up with a sickie.. make sure you keep a can of that stuff on the shelf... It is on sale right now... go out and grab a few cans for your rainy day fund. (pardon the double meaning)

Thank you yes I just worry sometimes of hypervitaminosis thats all. I will keep looking for something concrete just to be safe but to be sure I love the turmeric for my pretties.

MM are you already using it... if so what is the amount you are already using.. Is it less and how are your results???

I use turmeric as well, matter of fact my feed regime almost duplicates geebs' to a "T."

Yes I am using it now, inf act I'm mixing food now usually I make it before the sun and put it so they wake up with food but since I was moving them I'm doing it now. When I make it its 8 ponds, and so I use 2T each Turmeric, Paprika, Cinnamon and 4 DE. HOw are the results I'm happy with health and egg color and yolk color is blowing peple away. Notably I see a big difference in the yellow legs of my peeps, those that have yellow legs. They are yellow like, I dont know, they are bright. Like they glow. I nevar saw them like that before on the yellow leg peeps.

and also some crushed cayenne from my garnden. Dri and crushed. 2T but not always.
