Dark Layers of WA. State.

I just picked up a Maran chick from a feed store. I'm trying out lots of different breeds to see which I like the best, lol.

Everyone I know that is breeding Barnevelders including the breeder I just got mine from is trying to improve the dark color because they're just not very brown at all.

If you want to barrow my hen for a week or so, that would be fine.
As far as collecting and getting eggs to others, at this time I get them for my incubator only!
Pick her up anytime in the evening.

There is a Maran seller on Craigslist (snohomish county, Monroe) I posted a link this morning. He/She has cuckoo Marans and Black Copper Marans bred with Cuckoo. The chicks were $5.00 too.
