Seems appropriate to me. We're chicken breeders. Maybe you should edit the title and make it Breeders of Dark Layers in WA State. Maybe that would make a difference.

I have Welsummer's and Bev Davis Blue and Splash Marans.

I would so love to find some fertile hatching eggs to add new blood. If you have fertile eggs from a blue, black or splash marans for a reasonable price please PM me. I would like to have egg pic's and parent pic's. My goal is to have only blue and splash marans in my flock. I am in love with them for their sweet sweet nature , they are by far the friendliest birds I have and their beautiful dark egg color is a bonus. I would love to offer these incredibly sweet birds to everyone at a great price.

A batch of Wellies just hatched out last night. I will be selling a few of these and adding the rest to my flock, and 14 more are going in the bator tomorrow.
Welsummer prices in my area are ridiculous.


I would love to have some Barnie's but can't find any locally.

I didn't read the entire thread, but I've got 3 Wheaten Marans cockerels from the Bev Davis line and hatched NO HENS. HELP! I need hens!!!

I'm also wanting BC Marans (the bator flipped out on me while I was at work and killed all of the embryos who were about to hatch!)

Lastly, I'm wanting to promote the dark layers in anyway I can. How can I help?

pinch me i must be dreaming! I have been looking for someone who sells Black Copper Marans if they are to the French standard!!! Are yours light legged with feathers on the shanks? If so I would love to get a few fertile eggs from you. Because I don't like having eggs shipped across the US to me because of death rate sometimes, I live in Clark County.
