I purchased seven English Orpington chicks. They thought four of them would be mottled/spangled and three would be blues. The spangled chicks did not have as many light feathers as ones I've seen pictures of and as a newby I didn't know to look at the feet and legs. I still don't know for sure what I am looking at 
but would like to know if mottled/spangled ever have dark legs? It turned out that I have five blues and 2 mottled/spanglled. The two ms don't have very many white spots on them. Mostly on their chests. They are both hens. with very good blood lines. I hope this made sense.
