DARN! I think I was duped... (guesses?)

I bought 6 chicks at TSC.

The I asked the employee specifically if these were the breed I was looking for. She said yes.
That is why I bought them. But I am starting to think they are not what I was told.

What kind of chicks do you think these are?
They seem to be growing really fast, and they are really aggressive.

When I brought them home. 4/6/09

This past weekend. (now 2 weeks old.)

LOL! They are huge!! Sorry, but I can't belive how BIG they are!! My leghorns did not grow that fast! Mine were not that fat either! I have no clue what they are.

I would say BO but they aren't really buff so that's out. They do sorta look like my BO crosses with my white mutt roo but I don't think any hatcheries sale BO crosses.

If they aren't leghorns, they are likely white rocks. The meat birds I had at two weeks were MUCH MUCH bigger by 2 weeks.

This is about 3 weeks...

They don't have the meat bird leg thing going on so they are probably dual purpose.

What did you ask for? Leghorns do have a spritey personality. But if they are chunky, possibly a meatbird??

Notice the leg size difference between amarook and silkiechicken.
Silkie's chicks have thicker legs.
