I still am not sure if he is an oversized Dutch, or a bantam black Blue Andalusian. I have a splash pullet that I believe is the same breed. Anyone have any idea? My 12yo son is holding him, btw, if that helps with his size at all. He's pretty small. Has been trying to mate with my hens and pullets for about a month now. lol. Precocious little thing!

I think so, too!!! But how crazy is it that I got a pair of bantam Andalusians at Tractor Supply? He doesn't hold his wings down like a Dutch, and he's VERY leggy!

But he has a straight single comb, not even a rose/straight cross, so does my splash pullet that I have always thought to be the same breed.

They're the same age as the EE's they're on the shelf with, about 4mos old. I don't know why they sleep there, btw. I think they're afraid to go on the roost with the big girls, b/c I have 1 super mean hen that needs to go!

what breed was it supposed to be? could be a white face black spanish. sometimes you'll get a straightcomb bird out of a rosecomb breed but not often, however he is not built like a rosecomb. andalusian bantams are pretty rare from what I hear.
