Database Problem - Resolved - Some Messages Lost

Some messages that I deleted were back in my inbox. Weird, weird.

Only messages. Bids, posts, pictures, etc. are all fine.

It took a bit of finagling but I was able to keep everything else in the database intact, but the whole "Messages" (PM) table had to be restored to where it was at the time of the backup (around 5:00 am EST)..

So, basically your entire messages system (folders, sent, received, read, deleted, etc.) were all rolled back to exactly how they were early this morning.

Thank you for getting the site up and running.

At least I know what happened to the PM I got during that time. No problem though since I had the email I knew who PM'd me and they just sent it again. No big sweat!

I would much rather have the site up and running now! (yeah withdrawals are BAD!

)

Just wanted to remind everyone that you can see if you received any pms. If you have notify pms on and receive emails that you receive pms you can go to your email and check to see who pmd you. It has the username in the email of the member and you can message them asking what the message said. This is especially usefull if you were in the middle of a sale with one of the byc auctions
