Made my run into town the whole 5 miles each way and got more lumber and some pine shavings for the girls. Actually so we can walk on top of the mud in two of the coops.

I'm old enough to be in my second childhood and want more chickens. Went online to buy some blue eggs layers and the ones I want are sold out for 2024 from the main hatchery I use. Bummer. Another hatchery is basically sold out and a third has no clue when they will have some for sale.
