Oh and did I mention Friday is my last day?
Then what? DON'T ANSWER but hope you have something else helpful to work with.
Hey, I know you talked about getting a job. I'm back and forth with that plan. Ya could be some real advantages with having one but I think it could also set you back if it's not one that you can deal with easily. You know?
Anyways if it's not about the money maybe the place that helps you can find some volunteer work for you. Helping others in some way is good and maybe be a good stepping stone for in-between now and joining the regular workforce.

Thank you Moony! You make great points. Something to think about for sure. Maybe I could volunteer at an animal shelter or soup kitchen or something.

Well if she has no roof then I'd imagine her house fills up with water when it rains. Air couch, air bed, air whatever makes perfect sense.
I can just picture everyone and the dogs floating around a flooded out house.
Brilliant I say.
No roof? No problem 🤣

If ya paid attention in the missourah thread you would know.
I sold most if my furniture.
We sold our house in town and moved to the school house place into our little unfinished house. We had no interior walls or ceiling. Just structure, spray foam electric and most of the plumbing was done.
We we didn’t even have a shower for the first couple of weeks but yes we had a roof. 🤣
And that was back when it was about a hundred and fifteen degrees, so imagine the stench.

😝 nah. We had a sink and a floor drain and outdoor hoze showers are fine in the summer for a while.

Anyway.
We are gaining on it little by little but we have enough stuff in there already That has to be moved every time and you get ready to work on something. So I have not wanted to buy a sofa yet.

Most everything is metal, so that's why the weather slows us down because if it's too windy we can't really handle those sheets of metal. It's dangerous.
Plus Who wants to make a big gigantic wet muddy mess in their house they're already living in.

I agree with not taking on too much too fast for you.
But i do think ya need to squirrel away as much money as possible and work towards becoming independant from your dad and step mom. As long as they are supporting you you have no say so in anything. And that has to be depressing.
You'd feel so much better about yourself i think if you could have a life that is YOURS. You will make better decisions when you know your the one paying for it.

Ya, I didn't know any of this. I don't pay attention well.
Congrats on getting out of town. I know how that was for you.
Outdoor shower, yee yee. Where's a camera drone when you need one?
Calm down, just kidding.
For real though. Happy for you all. And you're redneck enough to get through until everything is finished.
How much land?
