Yeah, I’ve always been allergic but usually lately it’s just a small patch or two (like the ones a couple weeks ago on my arm and leg) and not bad. This one is BAD. And of course I scratch at it :hide so doctor said it looked infected 😭 fun. Now that I have the medicine, I am trying NOT to scratch. LOL I just tried calamine and it burned so I rinsed it all off after waiting a bit to see if it would go away. And Googling. LOL I used to get PI CONSTANTLY as a kid and BAD LOL but then the last several years have been better. Until this time. But I still remember the time in middle school when I had it all over the whole right side of my face and like half my body too. I had to go on steroids too then. Plus I was taking like oatmeal baths, baking soda paste, etc. It was BAD. But I don’t recall it being infected. This one is. 😬🙃😭 One of my friends has always been immune and never had it. Until a couple weeks ago all of a sudden.

I use dog shampoo for body wash 🤣
This is the best stuff ever for relief. (Great for the dogs too) Then I use aveeno lotion.

Poison ivy rashes sound awful. Somehow I've never had a problem with it. Same for poison parsnip. I'm sure I've touched it but nothing bad has happened yet. I do accidentally touch stinging nettle all the time, but I've learned to deal with the pain and it goes away quickly.
 
That post was from 2020. It was pretty bad. But last summer OMG both my legs and both arms looked like that. You'd think I had just rolled around in it!

I wasn't sure if you meant for poison ivy or general every day :confused:.
Funny though because I know a few people that only wash their hair with horse tail and mane shampoo.

I used to use mane and tail when I was a teenager, There was a claim that it made your hair grow faster. I don't think it did lol but it was good stuff. I swear the formula has changed and is not the same. I don't like it anymore.
Keep knockin on wood you never develop an allergy to Ivy. I never got it until I was in my 30s.. now I can't even look at the stuff.
