True. I know I used it...lol Put it under the offensive list...lolLol. ..and the report button
Too early...lol That's not going to stop you from worrying though. As long as the membranes look good and the chick doesn't act like it's in distress, I try not to bother it until 18 hours and no progress. My chicks honestly do average between 12-18 hours. I've had a few ealier and a couple later, (probably have more later, but I' a meddler..shshsh don't tell anyone. lol)So my little noise maker above has been pipping in the same spot since 8 making no progress. Should I be worried or still too early?
Outer. That's about all you really see. As long as they stay nice and papery white. The inner or outer membrane?
What kind of distress am I looking for?
Mine are usually up and moving fairly good within a few hours. I use the sav a chick electrolyte in their water for the first couple of days to give them that extra boost.Sorry for the dumb questions. ..just trying to gauge progress and i have nothing but day old shipped chickes (which means 2-3 days before my hands touch them) how long are they wobbly on their feet? Able to hobble around without falling, etc.?
