Toro, I am saving up for a Nikon D80.

I wanted a D40 first, but you can get a used D80 for just a little more.

I was looking at the d40 as well, got the d50 cheaper and have been very happy with it. I would like to get a nice bounce flash and a longer lens, but those will have to wait.

21 out of 30 is Really good! 70% hatch rate....awesome!

I have another one zipping, which would make 21 for me too, out of 33 total, 30 of which were fertilized. I am going to leave them until Friday evening since today was only day 21, hoping to get a few late hatchers.

Toro...so there is still hope for my one egg that has not done anything yet? Today is Day 22. It hasn't pipped yet...but I did wake up to two more chickies...which brings my total up to 15 in the incubator and 3 out under the broody...

So far out of 23 good eggs, I've had 18 hatch. There was still one egg under the broody hen and just one left in the bator. It would be a miracle if they both hatched today.
