Ok I have a hovabator 1602N thermal air incubator. I have it at 100 and 48% for humidity. I am going to up the temp to 101 and humidity to 65%, is that good? Do I add anything to the bottom like a paper towel for them to hatch on? Should I put them in a carton to hatch, fat side up, etc?
Anything to help? If trouble happens when do I help?

Please let me know..

You only raise the humidity...not the temps. It should have been at 101 the whole time for a still air. I hatch mine in an egg carton. I cover the wire with the waffle rubber shelf liner. Helps make clean up easier. You don't open the lid to help....just let them hatch on their own. It can take well over 24 hours from the time they pip to when they start to zip and hatch.

I have had it up to 100.7 the whole time so that should be lose enough right? Another problem is I have silkies in with standards. Is there something I could do to separate them so the bigger ones don't crush the littler ones?
