Day 17, which ones are alive?

So still no other pips or anything on the other eggs, and I’m in a dilemma. Should I take the chick out the incubator and put into brooder, or should I wait and see if others hatch? I don’t want it to be lonely, I’m not sure what to do,

What if the others don’t hatch, can you just have 1 chick? The local store for chicks only has 3 week olds right now, would 3 week year olds kill a day old chick?

Thats the same problem I have! I have 1 baby chick and I did find brahma chicks-but they are 3 weeks old too!

Oh god, I really hope another hatches. I’m considering taking it out of the brooder, incase they start hatching tomorrow and I can’t open the lid and the chick starves.

The chick will be fine for up to 72 hours after hatching

I had to get 2 2 week old EE pullets for my lone 4 day old d’Uccle pullet. They ended up doing just fine together, but I may have ended up with extremely sweet chicks.

No.. You just have to keep an eye on them

how long has the chick been in there? Is it sleepy or is it active?
I take them out when they are...
