I know day 18 is time for lockdown but I candled the eggs and the air cells were really small. At first I made a guess to take my water dish and sponge out and let the air cell get bigger but I am still unsure. I am hatching Silkies, Golden laced Wyandotte, Americana, and Brahmas. I have read that silkies hatch early too. Some eggs have way smaller air cells than the others. Do you guys have any ideas of what I should? Thanks!
Here is a picture of one of my silkie eggs.

many of the eggs have smaller air cells than this egg which is making me lose hope. Anything is welcome!

Thanks for a response! All of the eggs I have in my incubator are viable for now. I’ll just raise my humidity to about 65 degrees and wait and see!

Yes! 7 hatched. I took out all of the water sources in my incubator until one internally pipped which made humidity be about 20 percent. It really helped the size of the air cell get larger.
Awesome! I just had the same issue and I had a good hatch also. Started the lockdown with 15 eggs & 13 hatched!
