That's funny, Aran!!! Next time use your fingers, then your toes, then when you run out you know you're on day 21!!

ok all its the morning of the 14th today...that means as it is right now at 550am its 20days and 12 hours into incubation. Nothing happening so far. As cynthia said im guessing we may need another day to cook since they cooled down overnight on day 17 for a few hours...hopefully that didnt kill them all...i figure that it must occasionally happen where a hen steps off the eggs long enough for them to cool a little bit...anyways cross your fingers ill update again this evening after work.

Cyn is right: cooling down for a bit won't usually kill them; it will just delay them. Getting them too hot is much worse. Hopefully you'll have new babies soon!

buggar...today is day 21 and no action so far. Its been 21 days and 2 hours so far...oh man the suspense is ridiculous! darn that stupid lightbulb!

It's not late yet, Aran. Hang in there, buddy. With the cool down, they could show up on Day 22. I've had that happen just because an egg was in a cooler area of the bator. I myself do not let eggs go past Day 22 without checking on what's going on in there, but with what happened, they could show late on Day 22. I'm waiting with you down here.
