LOL...yes!!! Funny thing is, I am STILL not 100% convinced!!! It is so easy for me to crack an egg.....I want it to be that easy for my babies too!!!!! Hope your little ones are still doing great???

Well, I am having some serious hatch issues. I will now confess....I have no way to check my humidity. When I bought the incubator it was the only one I could find ANYWHERE in this crappy little town. It came with a thermometer and that was it. I looked everywhere for a hydrometer to no avail. Anyway, I have kept my water trays full and hoped for the best.....not to mention it has been really humid here. My babies, however, are dried out in their shells. Just helped out my first two because I could tell they could never do it on their own...they are halfway (head and wings) out and in the bator resting. Both are alive and chirping and I am hoping for the best. Just added wet cloths and a sponge and have two more pips. I am worried sick.

I don't have a hydro either. I have so far had 4 hatch and 2 more pip. just went to check on progress and one of the kids bumped the lid and it was off. All of my water evaporated, so I added some more and shut the lid. Is everything gonna be ok?

My first white araucana chick hatched and I see lots of pips now. It's going to be another long night.
