Question of you guys...the last day or so has your temp gone up some?
Someplace on here i read it does when they are getting ready to hatch.Mine hasnt been.
Maybe Chicken Lovers sister knows since shes had 5 hatches. What do you think?
Or anyone on this thread.??

yes mine went up when chick hatched out. So did the humidity a little. But it didn't do it at first so don't worry yet. what is your stuff reading for temp and humidity right now?

WOW!!!!

best hatch ever!! yes, my temp and humidity did go up before and as they were hatching , so far 19 and even ones i thought were duds are jumping and starting to pip!! i think it may very well be a full hatch, so glas i did not toss ones i thought were duds... may have been a few a late bloomers.... congrats sis!! SO HAPPY, esp on your FIRST HATCH!! HOW COOL!!

hope it gets better and better!! come on lil babies, pop like popcorn, lol..... that's how it seems to be here, there is a break and then BAM, surprise, popcporn chicken, lmao!!

Mine is now reading 65 humidity Icant sem to get it higher than 67... and temp is gone lower i think b./c of all the water in their now .(they say its cooler by a lake?). I have turned it up 3 times but it really likes 98.8!!!goes up to 99.1 then back down!
I think i am wishful thinking here but when i went in this time for sure i swear a few eggs have moved a millimeter. Not a lot, but I dont see any movement when i am there at all.
Guess it could be ppl here walking on the floors and cause a slight shaking we cant see, move them. Its just sort of weird as i have sort of tryed to keep track of eachs exact position and they have changed slightly 2 i am sure.But my washer does make the floor shake slightly maybe enough in the bedroom to move them who knows.

Humidity is judged by surface. If you only have the plastic wells filled that is the higher you will get your humidity. If you added a sponge in a small jar, stood it upright and added water your humidity will go up.

Just came across this thread and curious if your eggs hatched Roxannemc
