Humidity and temps have been where they need. Lowest I've seen the humidity was 55%.
Hoping for. My first successful hatch. Should get home from work and see pips. Fingers crossed.
My other question is typically speaking where will the pip be, will the bird pip out of the upper side of the shell?
Yes. They should pip at the big end of the egg. Pips at the small end means the chick is malpositioned and will probably need help getting out.

See it on the blue egg. They will normally take a long break after they pip. Most of mine were about 12 hours between pip and zip.
