DAY 18 !!!!

I have exactly the same thing with my eggs, they are golden pheasant eggs and its day 21 and when i whistle they roll around a bit, does this mean they are going to hatch soon!!!!!

i can tell one of the chicks is going to be running rings round me because it is moving LOADS! its going to be a really cheeky chick

haha it's ok that you went to bed, we all need to sleep sometime(except for the people whose eggs have pipped

Yes, well I put them in about 11:40pm...I wante to go to bed by midnight. Although, that didn't work, because my 17 month old son woke up crying from teething(cutting his molars...ouch!) So, I didn't get to bed until about 1:45am. Anyway, my eggs are in their carton and ready to roll..well not roll(they can't anymore haha). They are ready for when they hatch. Fingers crossed .....I keep checking on them, looking for pips(days 19) it could happen this early, couldn't it?

you don't need to whistle, if you can make a kinda high pitched kissy sound (like calling a dog) they will respond to that as well. That's what I do.

Haha, that's cute. Maybe the chick has ADHD? j/k I'd say he/she is a very healthy baby. You'd probably worry if he/she didn't move at all or very little. I know I would.

Last month was my first hatch and they did the rocking and chirping thing within 24 hours of hatching....but I guess it could be longer. This is the longest part...Waiting...and Waiting... You should go ahead and add the water to make the humidity around 65% so they do not get stuck to their shells....Good Luck
