I've filled all the water wells in the LG still air. I have both plugs in and temp is steady. I can't seem to get the humidity up beyond 45-48. I'm starting to freak out. Should I try covering the whole unit with a warm damp towel?

I'm afraid to open it to put in sponges or anything.

Ack!

has your hydrometer been reliable so that you believe it is truly 45? If you have sponges, or...feminine pads

Soak them and try that as well...that helped raise it up for mine when I was having trouble. I hope it works out for you!

Go ahead with a wet sponge. Hens get off the nest sometimes. It's natural.

Just checked it again and it's at 66. I think I just didn't want long enough to check it after adding water last time.

66 is good, right?

66 Should be fine! I had a chick hatch upside down in the turner with only 30%! (Yes, I missed lockdown by a day and it hatched early!)
