I just changed mine, so it's brand new. Weird.

That is weird! If you started having trouble after you changed your wafer, then maybe you got a bad wafer????

Usually, with a bad wafer, the temps rise sharply, but I was having trouble with keeping them up.

Lynn, If I have 40 babies hatch, Im seriously going to go nuts. Believe me, they will all hatch.
