DAY 19 SILKIES ARE PEEPING

I am on day 19 of my silkie hatch. Remember I lost almost all of my last hatch, then the last two died after hatching. So...these are important to me.

I am hoping that all of them will hatch, but I will even take 3/4 of them. I'll keep you posted. Today was the first time I heard them peeping. How many days before hatching do they normally start peeping. Just curious! Thanks

Good luck! I'll be thinking of you and your soon to be little ones. Don't be too discouraged. I had the same anxieties and my hatch turned out to be late by 2 days, but it was still a successful. Darned thermometer!!!!

Im on day 21 today I havent heard a peep. I may not have been in there when they were but its our first hatch so I am anxious. Probably not as anxious as my 10 year old daughter.
