OK, I will do it fast and dab a bit of diluted iodine on his stump. First though, I will go move my barred rock and wipe down the brooder crate again and put down everything fresh and sanitized.

The dry yellow silkie chick looks like its is doing fine. There is a black and another yellow that just popped out. The yellow in the incubator has a weird looking head. I just looked it up and it matches "vaulted skull". OMG what is that??? Googling now... just saw that and had to take a step back from the pc....

OK...so not bad but I guess I need to keep it maybe away from any bully chicks for its first month so it does not drop dead from a head injury..... weird, and more than a little startling to see.

As soon as it dries enough to come out of incubator I will get that one and the blackish/bluish one out. It freaked me out to say the least when I saw it. Was not expecting that ... Guess silkies eggs need a warning label...hahaha

Here are some pics of "Vaultie" with its big knobby head. The other two have normal heads. The one I thought was black is grayish or platinum, not sure if it will darken to black or not...
