day 20 - no signs...

Looks a bit dry, but good! You can leave it like that for a bit, or you can chip a little more away. Either now or later you will have to chip off enough that it can just push right out when its ready. (it won't have anything to press against to make the normal zip on its own)

Chirping up a storm now!! I don't think it will be too much longer... Whew!

Keep her active, but don't let her wear herself out and give up. If she looks to be struggling to get through the hole, open it a bit more.

Just be sure to let her kick out on her own. Don't pull. :pop

Sorry gross pict... this is as good as I could get from in front and behind. Will the chick "rest" for a while?? How long do I leave in the "bator"? When should it take water? Sorry new to this and want to get it right

Cute! He will rest for awhile and dry off. I'd wait until tonight to take him out. Sometimes the cheeping will encourage the others to get a move on!

Chirping and very alert when not resting. she is not using one leg she did it use to push out of the shell yet...
