Day 21 alive chick no air sac?

It almost seems like its mimicking pecking the shell.

Anyway you can get a picture? I'd probably be trying to use a warm damp cloth or a fine spray of warm water from a mist bottle to work the shell loose. Be careful because chick skin is delicate and could tear.

Oh crap...yeah. I didn't notice that until now...I guess it's not going to make it sigh:/

I guess it wasn't ready to hatch yet. I don't know how this happened though, I rotated my eggs to different spots every time I turned them to avoid cold spots. They all hatched on Wednesday and Thursday. Poo...does it stand a chance at all?

It's trying to get up now but it has the yolk sac attached still.

Ok, I totally realize I'm blowing up this thread, but I want everyone to be update. The chick seems to be doing very well. It's trying to stand up and is chirping it's sac looks to be almost absorbed but isn't completly. It looks to be just a little jelly like attached, it doesn't seem nearly as bad as pictures I have seen.

Sometimes it just takes a little while before the sac falls off, it will dry up and come off in the next day or two. Just don't pull it off before its ready. Good luck, and those are really cute babies!
