Day 21 and no pipping?

I'm very nervous to go out their and candle but still haven't. No signs of hatchment still
I actually like to water candle when they're that far along as normal candling can sometimes not show much, just dark black and an air sac. When you water candle, you pop them in a glass of body temp water for a few seconds, (making sure there is absolutely no defect or hole in the egg first) let the water settle and watch. The babies wiggle inside and make the egg wobble in the water, that way you can put them back knowing they're still viable.

I hope they hatch for you. Keep us updated :fl:pop

I would not.. absolutely not water candle.
There could be hidden pips and that could be devasting for the chicks.

Just candle and see for signs of life if you can. That's the best way and safest.
Agrees about water candling....but safest is to just leave them be and wait.

This morning one chick has hatched and 2 are zipping! IMG_3582.JPG
