No way to know for sure what it did, just have to wait and see, I guess. As long as it's back under control now...how about your broody? Any idea if hers are hatching yet? Ick, I know that smell. Not much to do except open the air vents.
This broody hasn't been great, I don't think any of hers will hatch. she is in a large dog kennal and a small run in the garage but she has been losing interest in the eggs. She is now locked in the kennal and has pretty much no choice but to sit on them. I will let her out once I am sure those eggs won't hatch.
what I've heard is better to dip low than to spike high. Might delay your hatch?? Veteran hatchers will have to chime in on that. Honestly, though, your chicks are probably fine.
I took the two that hatched out cause I just couldn't tell if anything was peeping or moving with them in there. I can now here someone peeping and what sounds like either a pip or someone starting to pip I just cant tell who.
