Got a chick on sunday morning 1 out of 5
Now saying that, I did check the other 4 today and to my surprise they are still movement in the egg, I'm not sure how that works as they are still no peeping I am really confused as to how this one was was early and 4 are so late :$ lol
Is this normal?

It is still normal, as I said before a few day's late can be expected, really great there's movement, If there is no pip by friday then I might be concerned. AND YIPEE ON THE ONE BABY!

Lol! Yeah I know that situation well, you feel bad for the poor little thing but at the same time you want it be quiet for just minute!Well hopefully you will have friends for it soon. Have you given him any stuffed animals or anything? I find that can help.

I ordered 10 silkie eggs from eBay and out of 10 only 3 showed development on day 10 so cracked open the other 7 and i dont think they were even fertile not a happy bunny they were just yolks !

i think posted eggs are very hit and mix. i have ordered from 2 different places and only got 1/6 and 2/6 hatch, but in the same incubator on the same occasion got 11/12 that i drove and picked up in the car. i think it's best to find local eggs or treat it as a gamble. it's disappointing though...

I agree I blame the post men and delivery guys they see it says fragile and think to them selves lets use it as a football !
