I have three RIR eggs in my incubator. I have been managing temperature and humidity. I candled before i put them in, again and day 7 and at day 17. There are blood vessels and obvious that the chickens have grown and are taking up most of the egg at this point. There is also an air cell at the top. Im new to this, it will be my first hatch; however, i am concerned that they haven't tried to hatch yet. None of the eggs have an odor or are they cracked, leaking any fluid etc. I do not see any blood ring. Im just really anxious, hoping something didn't happen to them this far along.

Hi there, welcome to BYC! :frow

If you didn't use a calibrated thermometer your temp may have been a little low. Can you hear any peeping? Where did you keep your temp and humidity and in what bator?

If there are no external pips... you can candle again and see if you see movement or a beak inside the air cell yet.

I have a noeler digital incubator. Also I have a hygrometer with thermometer in there as well. I dont hear any peeping, I've kept it on 38 degrees Celsius pretty steadily and for the last four or five days humidity at the lowest 58 that I've seen but more so at 68-70. That's the hardest thing to control for me. I candled it last night and the air cell looked clear, I dont really think I saw much movement.
