day 23 and still no pip come out my little white silkie momma is waiting!

I candled my silkie egg and there is still a live chick in there today is the 23 day what should o do should I pip a whole for it or let it be I dont want it to die. What can I do to encourange the little one to come out?

Day 23 is awfully late but not impossible... at this point, it won't hurt to carefully work on getting the chick out as the chances are slim either way.

Im so happy today the silkie chick has piped I help it just a little I wanted to make sure the beak was out so it could breath. I hope I wake up to a live chick:.

here is my baby it was born with a bloody belly. I put a band aid on the belly so it will close. I had to do this with one of my Jersey giant and its up and running. Crossing fingeres!

My baby passed away I came home to find it ontop of the sponge that I use for humidity it was all wet could it have drowned in so little water:.. I tried so hard to bring it into this world only the man upstairs knows why he's gone...
