play some hatching videos to it. the ones you can hear the babies, not music. ya, i know it sounds crazy. it works.

I'm on day 18 with chicken eggs and can't get my humidity below 72%. Will my babies still be able to hatch or is that too high? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

If your bator has plugs did you remove them? That will allow some of the humidity to escape. So far what I have read 55-65 seems to be the range to try to be in. Wish I could help more, but I am on my first hatch experience myself.

Should be OK...just don't add any more water.
Where are you located?
What is your ambient humidity?
If you don't have any pips, you could probably open the incubator very shortly to let some of the humidity out.
Once you have a pip tho you don't want to open it.
