Day 23 of hatching duck eggs

Thank you so much everyone. You're all so supportive and friendly.
We're going in to lockdown tomorrow really hoping and praying all goes well. It's down to them now.
Now comes the terror. Ducks can take their sweet time hatching. @WVduckchick can you pop over when you have a sec? First time hatcher with two eggs going into lockdown.

Hello Hev! :welcome

I’ll follow along with you if you need assistance. Tagging me with the @ symbol (like @rjohns39 did above) will get my attention quicker if you need me. Or feel free to send me a private message. I’ve hatched tons of ducklings, and assist the majority of my call ducklings, so hopefully I can be of assistance to you.

Try to stay calm, ducks do take forever to hatch, and it’s so hard not to worry. But you aren’t alone!

Thank you so much. I'm checking every 5 minutes!! But so far nothing!! I know it won't be immediate but the nerves and excitement are building!!!

Last night, day 27, I noticed in one of my eggs there is movement by the air sac. I'm shining a torch through the incubator to have a look at what is going on, I can't see a great deal but just wondering, is this the internal pip??

So exciting!
The air cell will start to draw down before hatch making it easier to see the movements from the duckling. When there's an internal pip if it's close enough to the side of the egg you can see what looks like a triangle shaped shadow from the bill penetrating the internal membrane.
