Day 27 no movement in duck egg?

I have a duck egg that I believe is on day 27 but I do not see any movement. When I candle the egg I can see the beak of the duckling right next to the air sac but not in it. I am not sure what is going on I hope he is not dead because he is only like 1 cm away from the air sac. Does anyone know what is happening?

Sadly...Possibly your humidity was too high and the membranes got to tough to breach...It happens ....

Thats what happened to Pippa! But she is 34 days old today, there is still hope i think...

It happens but experience helps and getting information at the right time...assisting is tricky at the best of times....
