Day 5 Candling

OK its day 5. I said I wouldn't do this until day 8 but I got all

about my new led flashlight coming in the mail I had to go and try it. So I made a nice little box with a hole to fit the egg and took some pics.

Now please please please tell me this is what I should be seeing on day 5 as 4 of the eggs all look like this.

Try it the other way round

You should see some very visible spider veining with a little bean shape in the middle

That visible at day 5? Really? Gasp I need to go check again lol

They're usually in front of the yolk

I'm going to go look again. Hope I can see something. All I know is they didn't look like that when I put them in the bator

5 day is a little early even for those of us whi do it all the time. the earliest I candle is 10 days, but fat end on the light works better. the darker the egg shell the later the candleing

I saw veins... Small little ones near the top of the fat end of the egg but

they are there. I checked two just to be sure I knew what I was looking at.
