Sounds like he didn’t absorb the yolk all the way.HELP..... we woke up to a new baby duckling but he had a mushy piece bulging from the back of the duck... duck seems fine but that piece is sticking to the dry paper towel.... HELP!! I don't what to do I can't even get a pic of it!
Yeah I can’t really tell from that pic.. but if he didn’t absorb the yolk he should be placed in a small bowl in the incubator so he can finish absorbing the yolk without harming himself. Do you think you could try and get another pic?Not a great pic

Keep him on something soft and clean, without too much room so he doesn't step on it- until we can figure this out, once the others hatch, don't let them in with himNot that I can see it looks like that piece is just hanging there
