Oh wow you got lucky.
I had a rooster that got into fights and lost both of his eyes. he couldn’t see at all, maybe light and shadows but not enough to know where he was going. He kept getting lost in the forest and couldn’t find food and water and we had to put him down. It was my fabourite pet chicken. :0(

Your chick’s eyes look undamaged.

Im so sorry that happened to you.

When i first saw her like that when she was born i thought she may be blind forever but im so thankful she is all better now and sees very well. It was very difficult to feed her and barley ate but she was fine with drinking water. Now i know that i have to be careful with my chicks not to go near hens when newly born

I have great news! the chick has opened both of it's eyes today !
My dad put warm water and vitamin e oil on its eye that was swollen and closed shut, and after a while it was open and finally ate by itself!! And now their both open!
Hopefully once the Neosporin comes in it will speed up the healing and I'll be sure to update again soon.
