Day old chicks wanted (Found) updated!

Oops sorry, I didnt get a chance to look here before we left. Yeah we went to the sale. I made about $16 on the OEGBs and a couple bigger ones I got a few weeks ago. Did you sell anything at the sale today?

I bought 2 muscovy ducklings tonite, so now I have 6 ducks lol Well 7 really, but I think we are going to sell our lone boy Mallard. Daughter thought she picked out a girl and is upset it turned out to be a boy.

No, we didn't sell or go to the auction because I had to go to work last night. We had another broody hatch one chick so far today!

Bummer, its ok though, you didn't miss too much. Prices were kind of high.

Cool, what breed are the newest babies? How are all the other ones doing?

They had a bunch of tiny peeps at the sale last night, but mostly white ones. I already have 15 right now and 16 coming in a couple weeks, didn't need any more lol.

I am going to resell the ducklings I got last night. Found out my black ducks arent Muscovies, but really Black Swedish. Hubby doesnt want ducks even bigger than ours, so I am going to find a smaller breed.

The newest ones were supposed to be silkies, but now I see that they are silkie x EE mixes...ughh
I haven't heard from that woman yet, so if she doesn't pick up the two partridges, and I can tell if one is a pullet, would you be interested?

You sure have an EE and Silkie that like each other lol. How many new chicks?

I love your EE/Silkie mix chicks tho. You know I will buy some of them when you are ready to sell.

I am still hoping the older one from you, 'Raven' turns out to be a girl, she is getting sooo pretty. She has orange red in the feathers around her neck, and the poof on her head is turning even deeper red/orange. The feathers on her back are rainbowish in the light, changing from pink/purple to green/blue. Its really cool. But so far she still has a small dark comb and a hen shape *fingers crossed* No signs of crowing yet.

I just put the 3 you gave us at the sale, in with my big girls. They are almost as big as the cochins from Kim, so I figured maybe they were tough enough to hold their own in the big coop now. They are being put in their place by my bigger chickens, but not overly so. Still cant tell if those 2 will be boys or not.

So far we only have one that has hatched. (Silkie x EE mix) Two more eggs to hatch yet. (Black Australorp x EE/ Black Ausralorp X Silkie and the other one could be pure silkie or another EE X Silkie mix)
The partridge I will sell to you for $8 or if they both turn out to be pullets... $15 for both.

Wow! She has grown soooooo pretty!!! From the pictures, Raven looks like a pullet.

I dont see much that says roo so far, so I am sure hoping its a girl. She's only around 3 months old too, so I can't wait to see if her colors change. Wonder what color eggs she will lay?
