How old is mature for khakis?

Usually around 4-5 months is when they begin. Mating and laying .

If shes from the spring she would be close then

If she hatched in April yes if she hatched in May then next month my Runners and Buffs hatched end of May began mating and laying in Sept.

How do you think i could clean the matted feathers around berts eyes? His eyes dont foam anymore but its dried into the feathers. Should i just leave it?
