Eilidh pinpointed the origin of the scent, and padded silently towards it. Suddenly, she came face-to-face with a strange wolf, and the fur on the back of her neck bristled with suspicion. @Starburst

Zelda froze but quickly smiled in a calm manner. "Oh, hello. Can you tell me where I am? I'm lost." Eilidh, Zelda groaned inwardly, Of course, it had to be Eilidh

Zelda smiled. "Well, I'm going to go..." She backed up, right into another wolf. Please, do NOT be Boots, she thought

Zelda looked back. Yeah, that's Boots, she thought. "Oh, um, hi." She smiled

"This is the territory of the Yellow Pack," replied Eilidh, in a friendly manner. There was no use in acting aggressive or overly wary when the intruder did not seem about to attack. "If you would tell me what area you are from, I could give you the relative location of your homeland."

Zelda sighed. "I'm sorry, I'm a loner, so I don't really come from a...place." She really wanted to attack the wolf, but knew that she should bid her time

Eilidh considered this, and considered her own rank. "Ought I introduce you to the alphas of this pack?" she asked, motioning towards the center of camp. "Have you a reason for being here?"

"Um, why would you introduce me to the alphas? As I said, I'm a loner, and I didn't mean to wander into your territory. So...yeah." Zelda gave a fake nervous laugh. Just pretend you're intimidated.

"Alright, in that case I will cease to question you further," Eilidh said, and turning on her heels, started towards the opposite side of camp in search of a packmate or two to talk with.
