Noticing one of the pups in a corner shaking with cold, Zelda gently nudged it closer, keeping it warm. This little one was the runt of the litter, and its legs didn’t seem to work

Lavender crept into the den. There were pups with the loner, but she knew there would be pups. She tried her best not to be scary and spoke. ‘ Hello.’ She stuttered nervously.
Zelda jumped up, startled. She stood in front of the pups to protect them. Fur bristled, she demanded, “What are you doing here?”

‘ Please don’t kill me I just wanted to see who you were oh please don’t kill me!’ Lavender rapidly spoke, quivering.
Zelda growled. She didn’t want to be mean, but she had to defend her pups. “You think I’m just going to tell you who I am? How do I know you weren’t going to kill my pups?”

Lavender crouched down and tried to backwards walk out of the den. She ran into a wall and fell. She quickly got up and turned around. She ran right back into the wall.
Zelda growled. “ich bin going to kill you if you don’t leave. I’m sorry, but your too dangerous with my pups.”
Zelda sighed. “Are you gone yet?”

Lavender gathered herself and stood her ground. ‘ I’m not going to hurt your pups, I have no reason to. I just want to know who you are. Wait, are you the loner that killed the pack wolf? The pack sent their attack squirrel at me when I got close, they are getting aggressive.’
“Well, why would I answer that question?”
