Thanks! We're finally down to about 15 cockerels and 40 pullets in lavender. I'm not looking forward to some of the final culling, but we all know only the best of the best gets to stay to continue with the program. Hard decisions are coming, but in the end it will all be worthwhile to have a couple great breeding flocks focused on continued improvement. I'm really excited to see the pullets getting pink in the face as they come into maturity and how they're making the first "hen" noises. Very cute!
