DD's soon to be ex wants to sign over rights, ?

My thoughts on this would be if he wants to sign over his rights, by all means let him. Regardless of the money involved. Because honestly, do you really want someone like that in your grandchilds life? I can tell you from personal experience that that kind of person will make your life hell and will cause that child more pain...
If you have the chance, take it.

If he wants to sign over his rights, DD will be more than happy to let him. But after talking with the attorney, its not as easy as it sounds. He just wants the easy way out.

Your DD would have to sign off on his termination of rights. Had an ex in law that pushed it on her ex so he would be out of the kids lives for good. Both parties have to agree then he has no right to the kids and she has no right to any support. (as if that dude had any money anyway....)

we had my ex's parental right ssigned away...

he owes NO child support from that point on...

so if he was smart (this guy) would have said he just didn twant the baby...and made NO mention
of Child support...

here when my exs parental rights were away..we did NOT have to have an adoption all set up..(But we did..)..

each state is diff. and as time goes on..the laws change...

GL and I'm sorry!
